Most of the steering wheel controls can be retained.

The only ones that don’t seem to work are the bluetooth answer/hang up and the Voice Activation control.

You can still quite easily answer and hang up phone calls via the 9″ touch screen.

You can also use ‘Hey Siri’ with Apple Carplay and ‘Hey Google’ with Android Auto with your voice.

Please be aware that you will have to program in the steering wheel controls.

Apple CarPlay lets you use a selection of your Iphone’s functions directly through your car’s built-in infotainment system.  Apple CarPlay is often more user-friendly and faster to respond than the standard features built into many infotainment systems

Android Auto brings a selection of apps to your car display so you can focus while you drive. You can control features like navigation, maps, calls, text messages, and music.

Yes, internet connectivity is required. This is because the head unit is designed to display your phone’s mapping and features on the head unit’s interface via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So, you can continue to use your phone in a seamless way, but with the added bonus of having everything displayed on the head unit’s screen.

Yes you can pair your phone via bluetooth but if you are using wireless Carplay, please know that while the initial connection is via bluetooth, it then uses a WiFi connection with the head unit to use Apple Carplay.

Yes, it has Wireless Carplay built in, so your iPhone will work with the Carplay interface.

Yes, it will come with our AHD Mini Camera and also includes a number plate bracket for versatile fitting options.

Yes, the wiring harness comes with the factory camera input. If you prefer to retain your factory camera, you can choose no camera and it will deduct $50.00 from the cost of the unit.

Just be mindful that your factory camera will be a lower resolution than our AHD camera.

Yes, there is  dedicated Camera app on the head unit that allows you to view the additional camera at any time.

Please note that it is not digital radio (DAB+), however you can download many different compatible radio apps on the head unit and stream radio*

Most radio apps like iheart radio will also work in Carplay / Android Auto so you can stream many radio stations this way and not have to worry about DAB cutting out when you go in a tunnel.

Please be aware that removing the original head unit is extremely difficult and requires significant force. No matter how careful you are, some clips will inevitably break.
