12 Volt Ice Maker
The Polaris 12V DC Ice Maker brings fresh ice to your camp, no matter how far off the grid you are. Running on pure 12V DC power with no inverter required, it connects directly to your dual battery system, power station, or cigarette lighter socket and starts producing ice within minutes. Choose between small or large ice size, and the machine handles the rest, automatically stopping when the ice basket is full and restarting once you've cleared it out.
With a production rate of 6kg of ice per day, a 1.2L water tank, and a compact footprint that fits neatly in any camp setup, this is the kind of gear that quietly becomes essential on every trip. Cold drinks, eskies topped up, and cocktails on ice, wherever the track takes you.

Do I need an inverter to run this?
No. The ice maker runs on pure 12V DC power and connects directly to your dual battery, power station, or cigarette lighter socket. No inverter required.
How much ice does it make?
Up to 6kg per 24 hours under normal operating conditions. Actual output may vary depending on ambient temperature and water temperature.
Can I choose the size of my ice?
Yes. The control panel has a dedicated Small and Large ice size setting so you can choose whatever suits your drinks best.
What happens when the ice basket is full?
The machine automatically stops producing ice when the basket is full. Once you remove ice from the basket, it will restart automatically.
What happens if the water tank runs out?
The machine has a low water auto-stop function. The Add Water indicator light will come on, and the machine will stop until the tank is refilled.
How long does it take to make the first batch of ice?
The first cycle typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes depending on ambient temperature and water temperature. Pre-chilling your water can help speed things up.
Can I use it in hot weather?
Yes, but performance may vary in extreme heat. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit for best results.
What refrigerant does it use?
R600a, an efficient and environmentally friendly refrigerant commonly used in modern refrigeration appliances.
How loud is it?
Noise levels tested at approximately 53 dB, which is roughly equivalent to a quiet conversation. Perfectly manageable at camp.
Can I run it off a portable power station?
Yes, as long as your power station supports 12V DC output at sufficient amperage (5.5A minimum recommended).

Return Policy
Due to the nature of electronics, every item that leaves our warehouse is bench tested to ensure it's in full working order before it reaches you. If you're experiencing issues with your new Polaris product, we're here to help.
Most issues can be resolved quickly by getting in touch with us directly. To help us assist you as efficiently as possible, please do the following before reaching out:
Check for software updates. If your product supports over-the-air updates, please ensure it's running the latest firmware or software version, as this can resolve many common issues.
Record a video of the issue. Send this to us via Facebook, Instagram DM, or email. Seeing the problem first-hand allows us to diagnose it faster and escalate to the manufacturer if needed.
Check your connections and wiring. Ensure all cables, connectors, and mounting points are secure and correctly installed, as loose connections are a common cause of electronic issues.
Note when the issue occurs. Does it happen at startup, after a period of use, or under specific conditions? This information helps us identify the cause much faster.
If any of our suggestions resolve your issue, please let us know as we love to hear it! When we don't hear back from a customer, we assume everything is back in working order. Your feedback also helps us better assist future customers experiencing similar problems.
If we cannot troubleshoot and solve your issue remotely through our support channels, you will need to send the item back to us for assessment. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
