The Polaris Universal Luxx is a double Din radio designed to fit into most dashboards that have a 177mm wide radio.

The universal Luxx is versatile and will fit many different vehicles.

Not exactly, please keep in mind that it is a universal unit which means it is designed to fit in a wide range of vehicles.

The connection that it comes with is a universal style ISO plug so there are many different Aerpro adaptors available to make it plug and play specific to your vehicle. You can view the most popular ones here

Alternatively you can head over to www.aerpro.com and choose your vehicle to see if there are any harnesses available for your vehicle

Most of the Aerpro harnesses that have APP at the start of the model number do not include plug and play for steering wheel controls. If you opt for an APP Aerpro harness you will have to hardwire in your steering wheel controls (if applicable). We can order in specific Aerpro harnesses with steering wheel controls, however they are approx. $100.00. For most Toyota vehicles with a 200mm wide radio our Toyota Luxx will fit.

Some vehicle’s do require extra parts in order for the Universal Luxx to fit.

Some require fascia surrounds or complete installation kits. You can view the most popular ones here

Apple CarPlay lets you use a selection of your Iphone’s functions directly through your car’s built-in infotainment system.  Apple CarPlay is often more user-friendly and faster to respond than the standard features built into many infotainment systems

Android Auto brings a selection of apps to your car display so you can focus while you drive. You can control features like navigation, maps, calls, text messages, and music.

Yes, your phone is still in use, but now it is displayed on the head unit with the CarPlay/Android Auto interface.

No! The safety of drivers is a top priority for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is why not all phone apps are available in CarPlay or Android Auto mode. Only apps approved by Apple will appear in CarPlay, and only apps approved by Google will appear in Android Auto.

Yes you can pair your phone via bluetooth and:

• Make / receive hand free phone calls
• Import contacts
• Stream audio via bluetooth

Yes, you will still be able to use the bluetooth feature for calls and streaming audio and you will be able to use Apple Carplay on the head unit.

Yes, there is  dedicated Camera app on the head unit that allows you to view additional cameras at any time.

Yes the unit comes with analogue AM/FM Radio

Please note that it is not digital radio (DAB+), however you can download many different compatible radio apps on the head unit and stream radio*

Yes the unit has 3 USB inputs.

They are attached to cables that plug into the back of the head unit and then placed in the glove box for easy access.

Yes, you can use a portable Wifi device or your phones personal hotspot to connect up to Wifi.

Please note: When using wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the head unit’s WiFi is already being used to connect with your phone. This means you can’t use WiFi for internet access (like streaming or downloading apps) at the same time.

If you want the best of both worlds – wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and internet access – we recommend inserting a 4G SIM card into the head unit. That way, you stay connected to the internet without interrupting your wireless phone connection.
